Julia Erickson Crowned Junior Miss Ocean City 2014

Julia Erickson, a 15-year-old from Yardley, Pa., was selected as the new Junior Miss Ocean City on Saturday night.

Erickson was crowned at the end of a pageant Oct. 19 on the Ocean City Music Pier. Her jazz dance won top prize in the talent competition. She also won awards for interview, scholastic and hostess.

Erickson was Little Miss Ocean City in 2010.

The pageant is open to girls ages 12 to 15 who live in Ocean City, attend Ocean City public schools or whose parents own property in Ocean City.

Erickson will make appearances throughout the year in parades and other Ocean City events, along with Miss Ocean City Carley Del Sordo and Little Miss Ocean City Mary Grace Jamison.
