New Trash Valet Service Coming To Ocean City
CAN-IT founder Scott Coren said he started the trash valet business after seeing empty trash bins scattered around streets and sidewalks.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Scott Coren drove around his neighborhood and couldn't help but notice the empty trash bins all over the streets and sidewalks.
“The bins were out all over the place. At every single house the empty bins were just laying there,” Coren said.
That spurred him to start CAN-IT - the Jersey Shore's new trash can valet service that returns empty bins back to your house in a timely manner, according to a press release.

“Empty trash bins lying in the street or by curbs is not only an eyesore to neighborhoods, but can be a safety hazard as well,” Coren said, noting that they can become an obstacle course for cars and for pedestrians walking around.
Additionally, Coren said the empty trash bins left for days in the streets or yards can send an unintended signal that no one’s at home.

“Knowing that most trash companies just empty the bins and leave them in the street for residents to drag in, I thought why not provide a service that can take care of this issue,” he said.
CAN-IT Trash Bin Valet service will come directly to your house and return all your empty trash bins back to your property, according to the press release.
“The bins, once emptied, are returned to your garage, top of your driveway, by the side of your house or anywhere you would like them placed. CAN-IT does all the hauling for you,” Coren said.
CAN-IT offers several service plans to choose from and there is no limit on the number of bins that can be returned to a home.
“Whether you have one bin or ten bins, we are here to provide a much needed service,” he said. “We know that especially elderly people can have a tough time dragging in their empty bins but we also help people away on vacation, rental property owners or people just not home during regular trash days clean up their empty cans.”
