Drivers traveling cross-town should plan to use Eighth Street or Tenth Street to avoid the construction zone. Asbury Avenue will be open to local traffic with continuing access to all businesses on the 800 and 900 blocks, but vehicles will not be able to cross the intersection.
This repair started on Wednesday, but crews needed to expand the construction zone to complete the job.
