Enjoy Mixers With A Local Twist This Summer At The Jersey Shore

OCEAN CITY, NJ — This summer, you can sit by the beach sipping specially made cocktails (or mocktails) using locally-crafted mixers.

Foolproof Mixers, based in Ocean City, has announced it will be sold in all shore points Acme stores this summer.

It's something exciting for the company's founder and CEO, Michael Larkin, and a far cry from its beginning - when Larkin was crafting recipes in his dorm room five years ago, during the pandemic.

Since Patch last spoke with Larkin two years ago, he's grown Foolproof Mixers, joining the Specialty Food Association and partnering with a national distributor. He connected with Acme, who "loved the product," and now you can buy it in their stores.

With the drink mixers - which come in "Pineapple Habanero," "Jersey Peach Smash" and "Watermelon Mint Mojito," anyone can "have a great drink at home," Larkin said. He emphasized the unique flavors that are made with real, premium ingredients.
