
The Ocean City High School field hockey team won a South Jersey Group III field hockey title on Monday afternoon with a 1-0 victory over Cape-Atlantic League rival Mainland Regional High School.
The Red Raiders, defending state champions in Group III, move on to a state semifinal game.
Ocean City and Mainland played twice in the regular season — Mainland won the first game, 2-1, and Ocean City avenged the loss with a 6-0 shutout later in the season.
