Ocean City Finance Director Honored At Gala

Frank Donato III was the honoree of Creating Experiences, a gala put on by the United Methodist Communities at The Shores.

OCEAN CITY, NJ - An Ocean City official was honored at a gala in support of the United Methodist Communities at the Shores (UMC) on Friday, October 12. Frank Donato III, Ocean City's director of finance and coordinator of the Office of Emergency Management was recognized at the Creating Experiences Gala for his service to Ocean City, according to a release from the UMC.

The event was held at the Great Bay Country Club and raised over $130,000 in proceeds, according the UMC. The money will be put towards improving physical parts of the United Methodist Communities at The Shores.

While Donato was the honoree for the event, several other Ocean City officials were recognized for their work, including Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian, Council President Peter Madden, Business Manager George Savistano and the Chief of Police Jay Prettyman.
