Ocean City To Host 2022 Battle At The Beach Games
After a historic season, Ocean City High School will once again host the Battle at the Beach football games in August 2022.
OCEAN CITY, NJ - After a historic season, Ocean City High School will once again host the Battle at the Beach football games in August 2022, according to the West Jersey Football Coaches Association.
The first-ever Battle at the Beach games were held in Ocean City this year over a weekend in August. Teams in the West Jersey Football League and local region played 11 games at Carey Stadium with the iconic Wonderland Pier ferris wheel spinning behind them.
The West Jersey Football Coaches Association organized the three-day event.

Some of the 2022 games have already been announced, including one involving the host team Ocean City High School.
Ocean City will face Neshaminy High School on Friday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m.

A full schedule has not been released for the 2022 Battle at the Beach yet, but a few other games have been announced:
- Williamstown against Downingtown West on Friday, Aug. 26 at 4 p.m.
- Delran against Wayne Valley on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m.
- Washington Township against Toms River North on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m.
- Red Bank Catholic will face Arch Bishop Wood on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 5 p.m.
- Cherokee against Holy Spirit on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m.
