Ocean City Realtors Raise $20,000 for VFW Post
The Ocean City Board of Realtors fall golf event benefits VFW Post 6650 in Ocean City.

The Ocean City Board of Realtors' Fall Golf Event at the Mays Landing Golf & Country Club on Oct. 2 raised $20,000 to benefit the Ocean City VFW Post 6650.
Approximately 120 golfers enjoyed a day of golf, lunch and dinner with an awards ceremony, silent auction, raffle and more. Ocean City and regional businesses generously supported the event with donations of their products and services. Prizes were awarded for tournament contests: tournament winner, runner-up, closest to the pin, hole-in-one, putting challenge, longest drive-men & women, and beat the pro.
Unique to this tournament were the Commemorative Flags, that were sponsored in memory of friends and family that served in the US armed services. After the event, sponsors were able to take the hole flag home as a memorial.
