Ocean City School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The first day of school in Ocean City is September 6 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Ocean City School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/6: First Day of School

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/17: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
• 10/23 - 10/25: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.

November

• 11/7: No School (Staff In-Service)
• 11/8 - 11/9: No School (NJEA Teacher Convention)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/21: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/30: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.

February

• 2/15: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/21: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
• 3/22: No School (Staff In-Service)

April

• 4/19 - 4/28: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/17: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/13 - 6/14: Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
• 6/17: Last Day of School/Early Dismissal 12:10 p.m.
