Pilot Killed In Cape May County: Police

A small plane has crashed at Woodbine Airport after takeoff killing the pilot.

WOODBINE, NJ - A small plane crashed shortly after takeoff at Woodbine Municipal Airport, according to the New Jersey State Police.

The single engine airplane crashed shortly after 2 p.m. and killed the pilot of the craft, according to the New Jersey State Police.

There were no other people on the plane and no other injuries reported.

The Federal Aviation Association and National Traffic Safety Board are investigating the crash.
