Missing Person Found Safe on Thursday
Viola Tietsen, 79, has Alzheimer's disease and was missing earlier on April 11.

Update: Ocean City police announced shortly after noon on Thursday that Viola Tietsen has been found safe in the Ocean City area.

Ocean City police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing person: 79-year-old Viola Tietsen, who was last seen about 9 p.m. Wednesday (April 10) at 624 Asbury Avenue.

Tietsen, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, was discovered missing by a family member about 4 a.m. Thursday.
Tietsen is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds. She is likely wearing a denim jacket, red shirt, black pants and a blue-and-white scarf.
