Residents In Need Can Visit Ocean City Food Pantry

Low-income Ocean City residents can now get what they need through the Division of Social Services' food pantry.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Low-income Ocean City residents now can now visit a food pantry to receive items they need, through the Division of Social Services.

The supplementary/emergency food pantry will continuously be stocked with non-perishable food, culturally diverse food and personal care items, according to the Division of Social Services.

Those in need must live in Ocean City and provide proof of residency.

Residents can also visit the Division of Social Services to apply and receive a month's supply of food.

The program is funded by a HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Applicants are required to complete the CDGB Self-Certification Form with the help of Social Services staff.

The food pantry is located at the Ocean City Public Safety Building, 821 Central Ave, North Alley. It is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
