Threat of Storms Cancels Family Night on Boardwalk

The weekly Family Night entertainment on the Ocean City Boardwalk scheduled for tonight (Thursday, July 19) has been cancelled due to the threat of thunderstorms, the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce announced on Thursday afternoon.

The National Weather Service forecast says showers are likely, and there is a possibility of a thunderstorm that could produce heavy rainfall. 

Family Nights are a weekly event on Thursday nights through the summer. Bands and musical entertainment are provided at different blocks along the Boardwalk from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. between Sixth and 14th streets. The event is sponsored by , , , and .
