Twelve Vie for Miss Night in Venice Title

Help pick a winner by donating to local charities.

Twelve girls are competing for the Miss Night in Venice crown this year, and voting continues until noon Wednesday, July 25.

The public picks the winner by donating to charity at local businesses. To vote, look for a donation bucket bearing your favorite candidate's photograph. The 12 contestants are shown in the photo gallery above (in alphabetical order).

Proceeds benefit the Ocean City High School After-Prom, the HERO Campaign for designated driving, the Sunshine Foundation and Shore Memorial Hospital nursing scholarships.

The public also can vote at the Ocean City Music Pier and at Seventh and 10th streets on the Boardwalk.

The winner will be crowned at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the after the contestants ride in convertibles from Fifth Street to 14th Street on the Boardwalk in a 6 p.m. parade.

Miss Night in Venice 2012 and her court will appear in the that starts 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, and covers Ocean City's bayfront from the Ocean City-Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue.
