More Luxury Dwellings In The Works In Bergen County
Just as luxury rentals are formally opened in two other Bergen boroughs, plans for more upscale apartments are in the works in Wood-Ridge.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Plans are in the works to build even more luxury dwellings in Bergen County.
Just as the ribbon is cut on high-end rentals in Hackensack and Franklin Lakes, construction on yet another luxury apartment-home community is "well underway" in Wood-Ridge, according to a Monday announcement.
Bergen County's newest "Class-A development" is slated to welcome tenants by early 2024, the developer said in a release.

Rosera Wesmont, located at 300 Wesmont Drive, will offer a mix of open-concept studio, and one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, and 35,000 square feet of amenity and ground-floor retail space, developer JCMLiving said.
"(The community) raises the bar for suburban living... and marks the extraordinary evolution of this pivotal Wood-Ridge neighborhood from a pre-war-era industrial zone to a beautiful residential neighborhood with easy commutability,” JCMLiving's Aaron Polinsky said.

“We are excited about this final and most luxurious residential phase... which will culminate in a development in which the entire community can take pride," Polinsky said.
The announcement comes as Hackensack formally opens an amenity-packed, resort-style community, and just weeks after Franklin Lakes officially opened a similar — what the developer called — "ultra-luxurious" complex, Patch reported.
It is unclear what prices will look like at Wood-Ridge's new 295-unit property, though its correlatives in Hackensack and Franklin Lakes are starting rent at about $2,100 and $3,300, respectively.
Rosera Wesmont's developer said the forthcoming community will feature the "latest in lifestyle technology advancements and world-class building amenities."
"In addition to in-unit designer elements and fixtures, smart technology, oversized windows and private balconies, (this) community... will include a multi-level, hotel-style lobby; 13,000-square-foot pool; sundeck and courtyard with outdoor games; fitness and sport simulator centers and a 480-space parking garage with direct access from every level of the building," an apartment spokesperson said in the release.
The community also includes "next-generation Class-A individual and co-working spaces," and multiple conference and meeting rooms — each incorporating "refined touches" for tele-commuters, the spokesperson said.
"Get ready for an unparalleled living experience at Rosera (Wesmont)," the apartments' Facebook page said.
