Cops on Hunt for Food Center Burglars
Police say video surveillance shows the two suspects committing the crime and fleeing the scene. Paramus Police are also investigating a residential burglary on Vermont Drive which took place over the holiday weekend.

are seeking information on two thieves who made off with approximately $2,000 in cash from the on Paramus Road early Tuesday.
A statement released by Lt. John Scully of the police department Tuesday morning says video surveillance shows two suspects committing the crime and fleeing the scene by exiting through the rear of the building fleeing north through the rear yards of the adjacent residential homes. No description of the suspects was provided.
Officers found the rear door of the store slightly ajar upon arriving just around 12:30 am. Tuesday in response to a burglar alarm, according to Paramus Police. Upon entering the store, located at 548 Paramus Road, officers had found items scattered about making it apparent the store was burglarized, police say. Paramus police said the thieves had cut the interior security system wires and the exterior phone lines to the building.

Paramus Police are also investigating a residential burglary on Vermont Drive which is believed to have taken place sometime over the holiday weekend. According to a police statement, three bedrooms, the dining room, living room and family room had been ransacked. Force was used to gain entry at the rear door, police say.
