$10K-Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Morris County

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Mega Millions ticket sold in Morris County has won $10,000 in one of last week's drawings, New Jersey Lottery officials announced late Monday.

The ticket for the third-tier prize was sold at Quik Mart, 14 Union Street in Rockaway, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers for the Aug. 20 drawing were: 05, 20, 26, 49 and 51. The Gold Mega Ball was 24, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.

In total, six lottery players across New Jersey won $10,000 or more last week playing Powerball and Mega Millions.

  • $50,000 Powerball, Aug. 24: Sold at ShopRite of Berlin on Route 73, West Berlin (Camden County)
  • $40,000 Mega Millions, Aug. 20: Sold at ShopRite on Atlantic City Boulevard, Bayville (Ocean County)
  • $10,000 Mega Millions, Aug. 20: Sold at The Rivermart on River Road, Edgewater (Bergen County)
  • $10,000 Mega Millions, Aug. 20: Sold at Mercadona Market on Springdale Avenue, East Orange (Essex County)
  • The jackpot now rolls to $575 million for the next drawing planned for Tuesday at 11 p.m. All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 p.m. to participate in the drawing.
