5-Day Weekend For Parsippany Schools After Lackluster Winter
Unused inclement weather days to bookend Memorial Day Weekend.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – A three-day weekend for Parsippany schools has become a mini-vacation in 2016, thanks to an incredibly mild winter.
The district built in five inclement weather days to be used if necessary for the 2015-16 school year but ended up not using any because of the dryer than normal winter season.
As such, two of those days have been added to the calendar to bookend the Memorial Day weekend. The Parsippany-Troy Hills School District will be closed Friday, May 27 through Tuesday, May 31, making for a five-day weekend just a few weeks before the school year ends.

Two other returned days were used at the end of March, while the final unused snow day will be used June 13 as an off day for students.
