Parsippany Resident Recognized as NJIT Distinguished Alumnus

Joseph T. Roman of the Glacier Hills Section of Parsippany was recently chosen as a Distinguished Alumnus for the New Jersey Institute of Technology at a Gala held in Newark.

Roman teaches Business and Management as an Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).

Roman is also the president of Accelerant Sales Group, an Outsourced Sales Agency and Professional Training Organization, in Montville.

He attended Saint Christopher School in Parsippany, graduated from Morris Catholic High School in Denville and earned his Bachelor Degree in Management at Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania. He then received his Masters Degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

He is married to his wife Danielle and they have three children, Joseph Jr., Christopher and Nicholas. He is a member of the Parsippany Knights of Columbus and is involved in local politics as a County Committee Man. Roman is also involved in Parsippany Youth Sports Programs as a soccer and little league baseball coach and team sponsor.

Prior to starting The Accelerant Sales Group 11 years ago Roman had worked as a Senior Manager for Dialogic and later was Sales Director of Intel Corporation where he was recognized as the Leading Corporate Sales Manager and received numerous sales and marketing honors and recognitions.
