Apartment Fire Leaves 2 Homeless In Parsippany

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A residential structure fire has left two Parsippany residents without a home, according to fire officials.

On Thursday, around 9 p.m., first responders were called to the Vail Gardens apartment complex on Vail Road on a report of a fire.

Parsippany fire officials, as well as neighboring fire departments, arrived to find that a second-story apartment had caught fire.

The fire was under control within ten minutes of arrival, officials said.

No injuries were reported; however, two of the apartment’s residents are "permanently displaced,” according to officials.

It's not yet clear what started the fire, as there is no further information available at this time.
