About $800 worth of copper was recently stolen from a Verizon cell tower on Parsippany Boulevard, police said. The theft of two 6-foot and two 15-foot copper ground wires occurred sometime between Sept. 9 and Oct. 15, Parsippany Police said. The cell tower is fenced in and there were no signs of forced entry, according to police. Police are investigating the incident and anyone with information regarding the incident or may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area should contact the Parsippany Police Investigative Division at 973-263-4311 or email Crime_Tips@parpolice.com.
