Pedestrian Killed In Crash On Major NJ Highway: Officials

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that a pedestrian was struck and killed Monday morning near a busy intersection.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A person died after being struck by a vehicle along Route 46 in Parsippany on Monday morning, officials said.

The collision happened near the intersection of Route 46 West and North Beverwyck Road around 11:30 a.m., police said. The Morris County Prosecutor's Office confirmed later on Monday that a pedestrian had died.

Route 46 West was closed between North Beverwyck Road and Condit Street for several hours while officials gathered information.
