Downed Wires Close Parsippany Road Friday Morning

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A crash has closed a Parsippany road during the Friday morning rush hour, police said.

Roosevelt Ave is closed between Lake Shore Drive and McNeile Drive after a crash caused a utility pole and wires to fall into the road. Police did not say when the road would reopen.

JCP&L are currently showing 65 customers in Parsippany without power; it's not clear if those outages are related to the downed wires or not. An estimated power restore time is set at 8 a.m.
