Elderly Pair Killed In East Hanover House Fire Identified

Officials released the names of the two people killed in a house fire Friday night.

EAST HANOVER, NJ— An elderly man and woman were identified as the victims of a Friday night house fire in East Hanover, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said.

Robert Dundermen, 78, and Cynthia Dundermen, 75, were killed when a fire ripped through their home around 8 p.m. on Friday. The medical examiner has ruled the death an accident, and officials don't anticipate any criminal charges.

The cause of the fire was not released, but Knapp said it did not seem suspicious.
