Final Stretch Of Seasonal Farmers Market In Parsippany
The weekly farmer's market was reinstated by township officials this year and has since been deemed a success.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — As the summer season winds down to a close, the township is in the final stretch of the weekly farmer's market brought back to town this year.
After several failed attempts, the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills made the decision to bring back a weekly market, allowing the community to stock up on the best locally grown or raised products from New Jersey farms and specialty vendors.
The township council made the decision to resurrect the market at Veteran's Memorial Park on Route 46 this year, with new attractions that they hoped would be able to help keep it going.

According to Parsippany-Troy Hills Business Administrator Jamie Cryan, it seems like the plan worked. During the Sept. 19 council meeting, Cryan noted that this year's attempt at the farmer's market was met with much success.
The market, which has been appearing in town weekly at 2 p.m. every Friday since June 9, will officially close for the season on Oct. 27, according to township officials.
