Spring Cleaning In Parsippany: Free Shred Event, Town-Wide Cleanup This Week

Parsippany residents can take advantage of this free, secure method of disposing of personal documents. There is also an Earth Day cleanup.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — If you are looking to get rid of old bank statements or other confidential papers that you found during spring cleaning, Parsippany Township is holding a free shred-it event this weekend.

Officials said residents can bring their documents to Town Hall from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 20.

And, the township is also hosting an Earth Day cleanup on Saturday, with volunteers meeting at Smith Field C parking lot. Shuttles will take the volunteers to various locations so they can pick up debris and trash, including the Jersey City/Boonton Reservoir, organizers said.
