Garden State Radio To Play Parsippany Concert Thursday

The Jersey-inspired cover band will play tunes spanning the 1950s through today while residents feast on barbecue favorites.

PARSIPPANY, NJ - Music lovers in Parsippany, look no further.

Thursday’s Summer Concert Series event at Veterans Memorial Park is slated to feature Garden State Radio, one of New Jersey's most popular cover bands, Parsippany officials said.

The band will be playing an array of hits spanning the 1950s through today while residents feast on a summertime barbecue spread sponsored by Sunrise Kitchens and ShopRite of Parsippany.

The barbecue spread will be available for purchase and will benefit Parsippany Police Athletic League (PAL), officials said.

Kids’ activities, including a bounce house and other inflatables sponsored by the Parsippany Municipal Alliance Committee/ Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, will also be available.
