Giants Player's Cousin Among San Bernadino Shooting Victims
Nat Berhe announced the news on Twitter Thursday.

New York Giants safety Nat Berhe announced on Twitter Thursday afternoon that one of his cousins was among the 14 people gunned down in a San Bernadino, California massacre Wednesday.
Berhe is native to San Bernadino County and played college football at San Diego State University.
His noon tweet Thursday read:
Berhe followed the shooting closely Wednesday, tweeting often about “senseless violence” the proximity of the shooting to where his parents’ office building was located.
An hour after the tweet announcing his cousin’s death, Berhe said:
Berhe suffered a season-ending calf injury in early September this year and has been on injured reserve since. He was drafted in the fifth round by the Giants in 2014.
