Give Your Thoughts On Parsippany's Master Plan
What direction do you think the town should take going forward?

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany is looking for citizen input on its new master plan, which outlines the vision for the town's future.
The last master plan was put in place in 1976, and was reexamined in 2014; plans are generally revised every ten years, and soliciting resident feedback is typical. You can take the survey here.
Master plans aren't a law or a regulation, instead, they're a guideline for lawmakers to refer to when they're making decisions for the town. Some things a master plan takes into account are quality of life, transportation, economic development, and parks and open space.

Informal polls showed that the most important transportation issue for residents is improving sidewalks and crossing and reducing car traffic. Residents are interested in connecting existing parks with bike paths, enhancing the aesthetics of the community through housing design, creating more sustainable developments in the future, and protest and conserve the Parsippany water supply.
