Heroin, Pills Found In Morris Co. Parks: Police

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Morris County Park Police made several arrests between April 19 and April 24, including for possession of heroin and possession of prescription pills. You can read about those arrests, as written by police, here:
-4/19: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop at Hedden County Park in Randolph Township. An investigation led to Marquis T. Harris, age 32, of Newark, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (suspected Heroin), Hindering Apprehension, and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
-4/19: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS/D.W.I.: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for moving violation in Butler. An investigation led to Sarah K. Wallace, age 31, of Vernon, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (suspected prescription pills), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While Intoxicated. She was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.

-4/19: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Morris Township. An investigation revealed Lori J. Aiken, age 52, of Morristown, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Madison Joint Municipal Court. She was released with a new court date pending.
-4/23: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Morristown. An investigation revealed John F. Ford, age 72, of Morristown, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Morristown Municipal Court. He was released with a new court date pending.
-4/24: ARRESTS FOR NARCOTICS/WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Mount Olive Township. An investigation led to Barton A. Biechy, age 29, of East Stroudsburg, PA., to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (suspected Heroin) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Daniel J. DiFilippantonio, age 38, of East Stroudsburg, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Haledon Borough Municipal Court. They were both released with court dates pending.
