Heroin, Xanax Arrest In Local Park: Morris Co. Park Police

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Morris County Park Police made several arrests at the end of January, including for heroin and Xanax possession. You can read about those arrests, as written by police, here:
-1/24: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Hanover Township. An investigation led to Matthew J. Hartman, age 33, of Parsippany, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was released with a court date pending.
-1/25: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS/D.W.I.: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Rockaway Township. An investigation led to Andrew W. Sopchak, age 20, of Rockaway Township, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Driving While Intoxicated, and several moving violations. He was released with a court date pending.

-1/27: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Jefferson Township. An investigation led to Matthew R. Constantine, age 25, of Newton, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (suspected Heroin and Xanax), Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
-1/31: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Hanover Township. An investigation revealed Horatio E. Alston, age 60, of Delran Township, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Cape May Municipal Court. He was released with a new court date pending.
