ICYMI: Ex-Par Hills High Teacher In Student Sex Case Being Sued By Alleged Victim
Jenna Leahey's alleged victim, now 19, is suing both the former teacher and school district, report says.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – The former Parsippany Hills High School teacher going to trial on official misconduct charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student is being sued by the alleged victim three years after the interactions.
According to dailyrecord.com, Jenna Leahey and the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District have been named by the alleged victim, now 19, in a lawsuit claiming the student was sexually abused by the teacher.

The suit claims the teacher was poorly supervised by the district, the report said.
Leahey was an English teacher and coach at the school. Prosecutors charge that Leahey became romantically involved with a then-16 year-old student she was counseling who lost a family member to cancer. She was formally charged with official misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child, sexual assault, and criminal sexual assault.
