Rotary, Elks, Math Skills Club Meet Wednesday in Parsippany
There are plenty of activities to take part in Wednesday.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Rotary offers ways to get involved in the community and meets every Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at Il Villagio Restaurant in Power Mill Plaza on Route 10 E.
According to their website, the Rotary’s main objective is “service in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe.”
The Elks Lodge #2078 also meets today at the lodge located at 230 Parsippany Road.

“Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans,” the organization states on its website.
Children nine and under can have fun while building math concepts with Mighty Math held at the Lake Hiawatha Branch of Parsippany Library. The program is for children ages four to eight and runs from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.

If you are looking for another way to help your kids maintain their brainpower, head down to the Lake Hiawatha Library Branch at 68 Nokomis Ave. and visit the Chess Club. The club meets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
At the club beginners learn how to play chess and experienced players can challenge a partner of equal ability to a game. The club is for children ages 9 and up.
