'Amazing Honor' for Football Standouts to Represent Morris
North all-stars demolish south, 54-8, in annual contest.
Morris County has plenty to be proud of when it comes to football.
The North was dominant in their 54-8 pounding of the South in the North/South All-Star Classic at Kean University on Monday evening.

“It’s an amazing honor to be here representing my other teammates. I wouldn’t be here without them,” said Goodwin. “We worked hard all weekend, and we really wanted this win.”
Niyi Odewade of Delbarton and Joe Esposito of Hanover Park were key pieces of a stout offensive line that gave their running backs lanes and their quarterbacks time in the pocket.

Three Morris County natives were part of the shutdown defense the North put on display. Kyle Young of Roxbury, Kamau Dumas of Morristown and Robert Hughes of West Morris were all part of the largest margin of victory in this game’s history. Young had an interception on his goal-line that kept the South from getting anything going in the second half.
