New Pet Grooming And Self-Service Wash Business Opens In Parsippany

Wash-N- Wag opened up in Lake Hiawatha, offering animal supplies as well as professional grooming services and a self-wash for your pets.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Pet owners have a new option to get grooming services for their dogs and cats, or bathe the animals on their own, as Wash-N-Wag has opened in Parsippany.

This full-service pet salon is in the Lake Hiawatha part of town, located behind Gene's Deli at 87 North Beverwyck Road (near the intersection with Chesapeake Avenue).

The Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce and Mayor James Barberio welcomed owners Eric and Evee Zimmerman at a ribbon-cutting on April 20.

The business offers professional bathing services along with the self-wash, including de-shedding, nail trims, teeth brushing, and fur brush-outs. They also sell supplies for a variety of pets — including reptiles, hermit crabs, and birds as well as cats and dogs.

Wash-N-Wag is closed on Monday. They are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Those doing the self-wash must check in an hour before close, but there is no appointment needed for that service.
