Parsippany Adds Regulations to Museum Parking

Prohibited parking, tow-away zones, permits enacted by council.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Council has approved new regulations regarding the Parsippany Museum, which will prohibit parking during certain hours, require permits, and make towing possible.

The governing body approved an amendment to Section 405-36(A)(1)(d) of the township code, stating parking at the Parsippany Museum, located at 320 Baldwin Road, is prohibited from 1 to 6 a.m.

In addition, permits provided by the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education “or its designated agent shall be permitted on the premises of the Parsippany Museum, but only during those times within the regular school year when Parsippany High School is in session,” the amendment states. Permits issued by the Parsippany Historical Society and Preservation Society are also allowed.
