Parsippany Farmers Market Returns, With New Vendors In The Mix

This summer, the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills will try once more to establish a weekly farmer's market.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — After several passed failed attempts, the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills will try once more this summer to hold a weekly farmers market.

The free market will be held every Friday, starting next week on June 9 until Oct. 27 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The farmer's market is pet-friendly, according to officials.

Local officials are hoping that the third time is a charm, allowing the community to stock up on the best locally grown or raised products from New Jersey farms and specialty vendors.

The township council recently passed a resolution to resurrect the market at Veteran's Memorial Park on Route 46 this year, with new attractions that they hope will help keep it going.

As part of the new agreement, food trucks will be present each week, along with live music and kid-friendly activities, according to Megabyte Events, which will manage the weekly markets.
