Parsippany lost seven residents during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany will host its annual community gathering to observe the 23rd anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks next Wednesday.
The gathering will be held at the 9/11 memorial site in front of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Municipal Building.
Starting at 8:40 a.m., the ceremony will feature prayers of commemoration by local clergy, followed by the presentation of a ceremonial wreath by VFW members. Each year, the ceremony concludes with the reading of the names of the Parsippany residents we lost that day, and a period of silent reflection.
