Parsippany Man Stabbed With Kitchen Knife Outside Hotel: Cops
Two men treated for injuries then lodged in Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

Two Morris County men were hospitalized and subsequently arrested and jailed after assaulting each other outside a Parsippany hotel Friday morning with one suffering stab wounds to his abdominal section, police said.
At 1:21 a.m. Oct. 16, officers responded to the Parsippany Inn for an active fight between two men, later identified as William Cole, 47, of Morris Plains, and Victor Columbo, 37, of Parsippany, police said.
When officers arrived they found Cole outside the building with facial injuries and Columbo inside the building with a stab wound to his abdominal area, police said.

Police began giving first aid to Columbo as ambulances and additional officers from Denville and Morris Plains arrived to assist.
An investigation revealed a kitchen-type knife which was recovered from the scene, police said.

When Columbo and Cole were released from the hospital, they were taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility, where Columbo was charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury with a bail of $35,000.
Cole was charged with aggravated assault causing injury with a weapon, possession of a weapon with purpose to use it unlawfully against the person or property of another, and unlawful possession of a weapon. His bail was set at $50,000.
The incident remains under investigation.
