Parsippany Officials Break Ground on New Driving Range

The 22-stall driving range, designed by golf architect, Steven Kay, is expected to open in the spring, officials said.

PARSIPPANY, N.J.โ€“ Officials on Friday broke ground on a new driving range at the Knoll golf course.

The range, which is expected to open in the spring, was designed by golf architect, Steven Kay, according to township Public Information Officer Danielle DeLuca.

There will be 22 stalls and Turco Construction will build it, DeLuca said.

"The driving range is a welcome addition to the golf club and one that ...has long been desired," Mayor James Barberio said.

Barberio was joined by township Chief Financial Officer Ann Cucci; Knoll Golf Superintendent Glenn Foesel; and council members Loretta Gragnani, Robert Peluso, Mike DePierro and Louis Valolri.
