Parsippany School Aide, Lifetime Lake Hiawatha Woman Dies at 60

She was a Parsippany Township resident through and through.

Born in Denville, Barbara Cummings lived in Lake Hiawatha her entire life.

She died on Thanksgiving Day at St. Clare’s Hospital at the age of 60.

Cummings was a school aide for the Parsippany-Troy Hills school district for more than 10 years.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen, two daughters, two brothers, and her mother.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Funeral Home.
