Parsippany Student Still Critical, Recovering In NYC Hospital

Friends can send well-wishes to Noah Lorencovitz in the form of voice memos to help him feel better, report says.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – The Central Middle School student who was found unresponsive in a school bathroom remains in critical condition and has been moved to one of New York’s largest healthcare facilities.

Noah Lorencovitz, 13, is now at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and has been since Friday after the Thursday, March 3 incident. His condition and location were announced in a report by parsippanyfocus.com, who spoke with the Lorencovitz family.

Police responded to Central Middle School Thursday morning for a report of an unresponsive student. The school was put into a soft lockdown to keep entryways and hallways clear for first responders, who found Lorencovitz in the bathroom, where he went after being excused from gym class.

The teen was rushed to Morristown Medical Center. The reason for his medical emergency has not yet been announced.

Anyone who would like to send thoughts and prayers to Lorencovitz may do so by creating a voice memo on your phone or tablet and emailing it to skb9003@nyp.org, according to parsippanyfocus.com.

In the memo be sure to state your name, tell Noah a funny or favorite memory of him and share a joke that will make him smile. The staff at Columbia Presbyterian will then create a playlist of all the recordings and give it to Noah.
