Parsippany Youth Runners Take Express Train To Nationals
Five athletes grab high marks in regional meet to move on to next level.

It was chilly in North Chili, New York, but for a quartet of Parsippany youth runners, the weather didn’t matter.
Four of the Parsippany Express runners took on the best of the best from the northeast at the Cross Country Regional Meet in North Chili and did what they’ve done all season – compete at a high level and bring home awards.
Brian Metz came in 18th place with a time of 9:55 in the eight-and-under 2,000 meter run. Meghan Metz came in 13th place with a time of 11:19 in the girls eight-and-under 2,000 meter run.

Callie Sisco came in 10th with a time of 10:28 in the eight-and-under 2,000 meter run and Amanda Hoffman came in 15th with a time of 12:31 in the 11/12 girls 3,000 meter run.
All five, plus Preya Singh, who came in 27th in the girls 13/14 4,000 meter run, qualified for Nationals.
