Contractors Report Theft of $5,000 Worth of Materials
Formica countertop, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity top and assortment of power tools were stolen, police say.

Parsippany Police are investigating a burglary from a residence in which several thousand dollars worth of work equipment was stolen .
Police were called to a house on Banghart Place at 8:30 a.m. July 19 after contractors discovered tools and materials were missing.
Missing items included a Formica countertop that had been installed the week prior, a full set of kitchen cabinets, a bathroom vanity top, a circular saw, a wet saw and an air compressor.

“The items reported stolen have a total estimated value of greater than $5,000,” said department spokesperson Patrolman Earl Kinsey.
Entry into the home appears to have been made through a window at ground level, he added.
