PARSIPPANY, NJ — An exit ramp in Parsippany will close for repairs from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The I-80 eastbound Exit 43 ramp to I-287 northbound will be closed and detoured tonight for concrete deck repairs, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

IEW Construction will close the I-80 eastbound Exit 43 ramp to I-287 northbound to repair the concrete deck of the I-287 bridge over Littleton Road/CR 630.

The ramp from Exit 43 to I-287 southbound will remain open.

In addition, the I-287 northbound left and center lanes will be closed at Milepost 42.2, just before the bridge, authorities said.

I-80 eastbound Exit 43 ramp to I-287 northbound detour:

  • Motorists on I-80 eastbound wishing to take Exit 43 to I-287 northbound will be directed to stay right on the exit ramp to take the ramp to I-287 southbound.
  • Take Exit 40A to CR 511/Parsippany Road/Whippany.
  • Turn left onto Parsippany Road/CR 511 southbound.
  • Take the ramp to I-287 northbound/Boonton/Singac.

The project is part of a $22.6 million state-funded maintenance project to repair concrete structures in eight counties across North Jersey.
