Rt. 10 East Closed, 287 Ramp Blocked By Overturned Car In Hanover

Drivers should plan another route, after an accident closed the road.

HANOVER, NJ — An overturned car is causing lane closures on Route 10 and Route 287 Monday morning, according to NJ DOT.

The overturned car is on Route 10 eastbound at the I-287 ramp. All eastbound lanes are closed as of 11:16 a.m. The ramp on and off I-287 is also closed. The ramp remained closed as of 12:18 p.m.

The crash happened just before 11 a.m., State Police said. A Dodge Ram carrying a car trailer slid off the ramp and into the guardrail. One of the cars came off the trailer and landed in the roadway, blocking traffic. The Dodge Ram did not overturn.
