Score Free Coffee At Parsippany-Area Wawa Stores Tuesday

Wawa is offering customers free coffee of any size on Tuesday, in honor of the local convenience chain's 60th anniversary.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Wawa officially turns 60 on Tuesday, and to celebrate the milestone anniversary, customers in Parsippany and around Morris County can pick up a free coffee to help fuel their day's journey.

Wawa is offering customers a free hot coffee of any size at all of its locations Tuesday, including these local stores:

  • 350 New Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054
  • 370 U.S. 46, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046

The Wawa company has a long history, starting in 1803 as an iron foundry in New Jersey. According to the website, "Toward the end of the 19th Century, owner George Wood took an interest in dairy farming and the family began a small processing plant in Wawa, Pa., in 1902. The milk business was a huge success."

In the 1960s, home delivery of milk declined. So Grahame Wood, George's grandson, began selling dairy products through the first Wawa Food Market in 1964.
