PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany students' SAT scores rank in the top 100 of the average scores across New Jersey, information released by the New Jersey Department of Education shows.
The average SAT score in Parsippany for the 2017-18 school year was 1181, or 55th highest in New Jersey out of 307 districts.
For the math portion of the exam Parsippany's average score was 598, good for 50th highest.

The reading and writing portion the average Parsippany score was 583, or 65th highest in New Jersey.
The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2017-18 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores.
