Still No Plans For Former Parsippany KMart
What would you like to see move into the space?

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The old Kmart building on Route 46 will remain empty for the time being. A Planning Board official confirmed Tuesday morning that there are no applications from another business submitted as of mid-December 2018.
The Kmart closed in November 2017 and has mostly sat empty, except for a seasonal store earlier this year.
The plaza's management company, Garden Commercial Properties, shows the old Kmart location as being "reserved." A Spirit Halloween was in the space during the Halloween season; it's not clear if the "reserved" is referring to the party store, or when the website was last updated. Photos of the center listed on the manegment company's website still show the Kmart.
