Thin Blue Line Painted on Busy Parsippany Roads
The line supports the Parsippany-Troy Hills officers "who put their lives on the line," Mayor James Barberio said.
PARSIPPANY, N.J.โ The "Thin Blue Line" has been painted on several Parsippany roads to honor the local police officers, officials said.
โI have selected two of the most heavily traveled roads within the township to demonstrate our support for the men and women in blue who keep Parsippany safeโ, said Mayor James Barberio.
The lines are located on North Beverwyck Road from Lake Shore Drive to Hiawatha Boulevard and along Parsippany Road from the Route 80 bridge to Green Hill Shopping Center.

โGiven the present environment of police violence, this will be a daily reminder that we respect and support the officers who put their lives on the line for our residents and visitors to Parsippany," Barberio said. "There is a reason why Parsippany crime statistics remain low and why we are one of the safest towns in the state.โ
The lines were painted by Denville Line Painting, according to the mayor.
